Isaiah Collier "Collier Plays Coltrane" | Concert

Chicago’s multi-talented artist—composer, activist, curator, and saxophone virtuoso Isaiah Collier—will perform at Komünite on November 19 at 21:30 with his “Collier Plays Coltrane” project.

Known for his work with artists ranging from Angel Bat Dawid to Chance The Rapper, Collier brings a sound that is both a tribute to jazz heritage and a leap into the future. His acclaimed project Cosmic Transitions—recorded at the legendary Rudy Van Gelder Studio on John Coltrane’s birthday using the original A Love Supreme analog gear—earned a five-star Downbeat review and numerous "Album of the Year" accolades. Showcasing an extensive musical range and an adventurous spirit, Collier invites the audience on a sonic journey that remains decisively forward-looking while honoring the roots of the genre.

Experience a powerful, soulful, and boundary-pushing night with one of contemporary music's most expressive talents.
