Girls in Airports | Concert

Copenhagen-based indie jazz band Girls in Airports takes the stage at Komünite on December 12 at 21:30.

Since their student years, the band has followed the music without being bound by rules or conventions. This free-spirited approach comes to life through vintage keyboards, saxophone, and a wide range of percussion instruments. Moving freely between jazz, ambient, and folk, Girls in Airports brings diverse instrumental textures together to create a distinctive, multi-layered sound that resists easy categorization.

With more than ten albums and over a decade of touring experience, the band has collaborated with Teitur, Halvcirkel, and the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, and has performed at Roskilde Festival. Known for live performances that evolve from one show to the next, Girls in Airports now takes the stage at Komünite.
